Lost THIN LIZZY Recordings To Be Released

A brand new THIN LIZZY box set, featuring never before heard songs, is to be released later this year.

Just before Phil Lynott died in 1986 he gave 150 tapes (1971-1981) to someone for safekeeping.
These have now surfaced and have been acquired by Universal Music who will release some of the recordings as a new box set.

We can expect to hear outtakes, previously unheard versions of Thin Lizzy songs and material the band recorded but was never previously available.

This release is being compiled with the direct involvement of guitarist Scott Gorham and drummer Brian Downey.

Today marks the 26th anniversary of Phil Lynott’s death and will be marked by the annual Vibe For Philo gig at the Button Factory in Dublin.
