LAZULI & UNTO US To Appear At The SUMMERS END Festival

Lazuli & Unto Us will play at the SUMMERS END Festival on Friday & Sunday respectively.

Friday evening's other band will be announced by the organisers very shortly.

The Summers End Festival , which takes place on 7th, 8th and 9th October at the Town Hall, Lydney is thrilled to announce the first part of its Friday line up, French prog maestro’s Lazuli. The other exciting band for Friday will be announced in the next few days. Over the years, this astonishing band has been the one of the most requested acts we have had, and so when the opportunity came to book them this year, we jumped at it. They have always had rave reviews for their live shows and so we are thrilled to be able to bring them to the UK for the first time. Built around the sound of the unique Leode instrument played by Claude Leonetti, Lazuli have built a reputation as one of the finest bands on the world progressive scene and their performance is not to be missed.www.lazuli-music.com

We are also pleased to announce that Unto Us will open the Sunday of the festival. Having made their well-received live debut at The Peel recently, the bad are now working on a full length album for release later in the year. This means that we can now announce the full line ups for the Saturday and Sunday of the festival:

Saturday 8th October

Evening: Arena (UK) – Saturday Headliner, The Tangent (UK ) – Saturday Special guest.

Afternoon: K2 (USA), Casual Silence (Holland), Invertigo (Germany).

Sunday 9th October

Evening: Caravan (UK) – Sunday Headliner, Magenta (UK) – Sunday Special Guest.

Afternoon: Headspace (UK), Sunchild (Ukraine), Unto Us (UK).

Ticket sales: As well as Sponsor’s tickets at £85, which get the purchaser a special T-shirt and one other Summers End goodie to be confirmed, standard 3 day tickets are now available priced £65 from www.summersend.co.uk

As well as completing our Friday line up, in a few days we will announce details of day and two day tickets, which should go on sale around the middle of July.
