Anthem Entertainment will release "Working Men", the first "best-of" live performance compilation from RUSH on November 17th.
The collection will be released on DVD in partnership with Rounder and on CD via Atlantic Records outside of Canada.
This release is compiled from previous Rush DVD releases "Rush in Rio", "R30" and "Snakes & Arrows Live".
"Working Men" features live recordings of the band's greatest hits as well as one previously unreleased track , "One Little Victory".

German metallers ACCEPT are to start recording a new album at the end of next month.
The album will be produced by Andy Sneap, at his own Backstage Studio in Derbyshire.
This will be the first new Accept studio album since Predator in 1996; and also marks the recording debut of new vocalist Mark Tornillo. Mark will be filling the shoes of the legendary Udo Dirkschneider.
The band’s line-up is guitarists Wolf Hoffmann and Herman Frank, bassist Peter Baltes and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann plus Mark Tornillo on vocals.
The, as yet, untitled album will be released early next year.
Voiceprint will release Graham Bonnet's (RAINBOW, MSG, ALCATRAZZ, IMPELLITTERI) first two solo albums "Graham Bonnet" and "No Bad Habits" on CD in October and November.
"Graham Bonnet" was released on CD in 1987, coupled with "Line Up", in Japan, but it has been an out-of-print and a rare collector's item for many years. "No Bad Habits" has never been officially released on CD. The CD's will be released on October 19th and November 9th respectively.

JOURNEY will release "Live In Manila" a 2DVD set on October 2nd.
Filmed with RED technology, which utilizes special 4K high-definition cameras with a resolution exceeding 35mm film that gives the footage an extra dynamic quality, the DVD captures Journey's concert in Manila, Philippines.
Performing more than two hours' worth of classic favorites, as well as new songs from the band's latest album, "Revelation", "Live In Manila" documents the triumphant homecoming of the band's singer Arnel Pineda.
On March 14, 2009, the band (Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross Valory, Deen Castronovo & Arnel Pineda) played to 30,000 people in Manila.

WITHIN TEMPTATION will release a new live album, "An Acoustic Night At The Theatre", at the end of October.
The CD will contain a brand new song called "Utopia" as well as acoustic live tracks that were recorded during the band's sold-out theater tour in November 2008.
On October 23rd, the band will release the track "Utopia" as a single, which is a duet between Within Temptation singer Sharon den Adel and Chris Jones.
The single also contains "Restless", recorded live at Within Temptation's 2007 show in Eindhoven, Holland.

In April of next year Within Temptation will be doing a re-run of their acoustic tour, where they will be doing this particular show for the last time. After this, they will prepare themselves for a new album and new show.

Doogie White (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RAINBOW, CORNERSTONE, TANK) is putting the finishing touches to his forthcoming solo album.
Tony Carey (ex-Rainbow) and Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater) have played keyboards on the album and when Pontus Norgren (guitarist for Hammerfall, The Poodles, Talisman, Great King Rat) has finished doing live sound for Opeth, then the mix can be finalized.
Doogie previoulsly commented about his forthcoming CD, "This will be an album that covers many aspects of music that I have enjoyed over the years and then some."
The new album is as yet untitled and the release date will be announced soon.
White and Yngwie Malmsteen officially parted company in February 2008 after six years together and recorded two albums "Attack" (2002) and "Unleash the Fury" (2005).

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is to participate in this years Children in Need charity event which is organised by the BBC.
Mason is to feature on an album recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.
Called Bandaged Together, it will feature the works of various artists including Bill Wyman, Midge Ure, Nick Mason, Roger Taylor, Bryan Ferry, Beth Rowley, Imelda May, Clare Teal, Hayley Westenra, Cerys Matthews, Hugh Cornwell, Heather Small, Paloma Faith, Cara Dillon, Peter Gabriel, Finbar Fury, and Red Hurley.
The album will released in late October and in addition to the album, there will be a "Making Of" broadcast as part of the Children In Need coverage on the BBC.

Austrian band EDENBRIDGE have issued the following update...
"Recordings for our seventh studio album have begun last weekend at Wild One Studios in Vienna. Max [Pointner] has hammered his drum takes on tape respectively hard disc in unbelievable one and a half days and the results are simply fantastic!
"We will continue with recordings in October. Guitars, basses, vocals and all acoustic instruments like bouzouki, mandolin, Irish fiddle and acoustic guitars will be recorded at [guitarist/keyboardist] Lanvall's Farpoint Station studio. Already finished are all keyboards, pianos and orchestrations."
The new album is due in May/June 2010 and song titles set to appear on the CD include "Brothers On Diamir", "Skyline's End", "Bon Voyage Vagabond", "Further Afield" and "Come Undone".
EDENBRIDGE team up with SERENITY for a tour which starts on September 12th. The dates can be viewed HERE.

Ex-Helloween voice Michael Kiske who has appeared on every Avantasia album so far, has been back in the studio to sing his parts for Tobias Sammet's next Avantasia album.
Bob Catley (Magnum), Eric Singer (Kiss), Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody Of Fire), Klaus Meine (Scorpions), Jorn Lande (Masterplan) and Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex-Judas Priest) have all been announced as guests on the latest album.
Tobias Sammet commented,
"Michael's voice and singing have had a huge influence on me when I was young. Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free" lit the spark for me back then, it made me want to become a singer at age 12. Michael appears on several songs, two are fast and anthemic tunes, my personal "Eagle-Fly-Frees" if you want. Crystal clear and high singing. If up-tempo music sounds like that, I don't get tired of it. And still it is not a copy of early Helloween or early Avantasia. It's great to have Michael sing those kinds of tunes. He's a good guy! Great job, great voice!"
